Marilyn Jones Armstrong
Membership Database Coordinator
Marilyn joined the League in February 2010 as Membership Database Coordinator. A native South Carolinian, she moved to the Bay Area in 2008 and quickly acclimated to life on the "Left Coast." She enjoyed careers as an English teacher, human resources generalist and technical writer, all while growing a family. She holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the College of Charleston and an MEd in elementary education from the University of South Carolina. She lives in Oakland and also volunteers for the Friends of Sausal Creek, Centro Legal de la Raza and Donate Life.
