Tour of Upper Truckee River and Marsh
The UTRWSG and the California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) will be touring the Upper Truckee Marsh on August 13th. Human alterations to the Upper Truckee River and Marsh have disrupted geomorphic process and ecological function. A representative from the CTC will be discussing the alternatives that exist for restoring this area to its naturally functioning state. The tour is open to the public.
