Billy joined the Associate Board in 2017. He focuses on fundraising and connecting with others who are passionate about preserving the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe.  

Billy attended American University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. There, he was captain of the varsity soccer team and was later drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes to play Major League Soccer. He went on to earn an MBA from UCLA and now works in early-stage technology and investing.  

Billy grew up in San Francisco, but spent most of his childhood in Tahoe hiking, water skiing, and mountain biking. Billy and his wife Kate got married in South Lake Tahoe this summer. You can find them at sunrise hiking Mt. Tallac in the summer or backcountry skiing with their dog, Maverick, in winter.
