Kayla Bruni
Kayla creates effective internal and external communications for the League, working in close coordination with the Communications Director. At the forefront of her work is producing content to foster a strong social media presence and an engaged following that helps #KeepTahoeBlue. Kayla’s work spans all League departments, programs, and projects, and works closely with the League’s community engagement and development staff, and the League’s leadership and policy teams.
Kayla is a graduate of James Madison University in Virginia with a major in Digital Arts, Cinema, and Video and a minor in Creative Writing. Many of her creative projects are rooted in advocacy and showcase a keen eye for design and photography. Kayla brings her advocacy and storytelling skills to help bring the League’s environmental pursuits to life.
Lastly, she is no stranger to the Basin. Her roots began in California, but her military family brought her across the country, with several stops in between. Lake Tahoe quickly became familiar and welcoming to her, as it was the epicenter for all family reunions. She is excited to be living in her home-away-from-home and working to protect it.
