Chris Joseph
Chris helps guide all external and internal communications for the League, including earned media, advertising and social media strategies. He works closely with the League’s community engagement and development staff to prepare educational materials and presentations, and coordinate member communications. He also collaborates with the League’s leadership and policy team to advocate for sound environmental protections for Lake Tahoe by contacting decision-makers and the public.
Chris brings his experience in communications strategies, public affairs and campaigns to his role with the League. Past work in politics and public relations equipped him with skills in crisis communications, message development, multimedia production, grassroots outreach and community engagement. Chris is a native Californian, UCLA graduate and Rhodes Scholar with master’s degrees from the University of Oxford in Biodiversity Conservation and Social Anthropology.
He and his wife enjoy spending time with family and any reason to be outdoors in beautiful Lake Tahoe.
