Sami joined the associate board in 2019 and focuses on driving partnership and fundraising initiatives. In his role, he coordinates with local vendors and brands that are interested in helping Keep Tahoe Blue through sponsorship and event coordination.

Sami attended Lewis & Clark College, where he played Varsity Baseball and Golf. A Bay Area native, he found himself back in the Bay after graduation, working as a Product Manager for Major League Baseball and eventually working on the team that built the Disney+ streaming service.

Sami grew up taking family ski vacations to Palisades, and while preferring the snowier winter months, he still enjoys the warmer summer months at Lake Tahoe, riding bikes and wakeboarding. He often spends his weekends skiing at Kirkwood, mountain biking, backpacking, and boating in the Lake Tahoe and surrounding Sierra Nevada region.
