Noa Banayan
Noa helps shape the League’s policy goals and implement advocacy strategies across local, state, and federal agendas. She joined the League in June 2024, bringing seven years of experience in national environmental policy. Prior to this role, Noa directed federal affairs for the U.S. bicycle industry with PeopleForBikes, researched and advocated for transmission and clean energy at Clean Air Task Force, and campaigned to protect public lands and waters with the Alaska Wilderness League.
Noa is working towards a Masters in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University and earned a B.A. in International Relations from American University.
Outside of work, Noa spends most of her free time exploring the outdoors on two wheels or two feet, preferably with her four-legged canine companion. She’s excited to take in everything Lake Tahoe has to offer after spending a decade in Washington, D.C.
