Developed campgrounds, cabin rentals, picnic areas, public restrooms, boat ramps, designated parking areas and other recreation facilities on the Eldorado National Forest are closed through April 30 as part of a statewide push to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Notifications to those who reserved sites through recreation.org will be made as soon as possible and refunds will be processed, according to Eldorado National Forest officials.
Developed recreation sites may be closed but trails and roads will continue to be open for public use with the exception of unpaved roads.
