As El Dorado County continues moving into Stage 2 of reopening, more and more businesses are opening their doors, including dine-in restaurants, provided they meet certain safety requirements.
While this applies to South Lake Tahoe, as well, it doesn’t apply to tourists or people coming to the city for nonessential travel.
“The important thing to know is we are still not open for business,” Mayor Jason Collin said.
The Tahoe Basin draws millions of visitors each year and has struggled to keep tourists away despite California’s stay-at-home order.
