Adrian Escobedo
Community Program Director
As Community Program Director at the League to Save Lake Tahoe, Adrian leads the organization’s Engagement, Education, and Sustainable Recreation programs. They work to build meaningful community partnerships, represent the League at public events, and align programs with organizational goals in policy, communications, and natural resources.
They bring deep experience from both federal and educational settings, having led community-based programs with the U.S. Forest Service and developed equity-driven initiatives in local schools and colleges. Their work has focused on expanding access to environmental education, workforce pathways, and public service careers for youth and underrepresented communities.
Originally from East Los Angeles, Adrian developed a love for the outdoors, exploring California’s mountains, forests, and the Baja coast. Now based in Tahoe, he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and lake time with his family. He stays active in the community through service, coaching, and local events, with a passion for creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels connected to nature and inspired to protect it.
