Alexxa Cervantes
Alexxa joins the League to Save Lake Tahoe as an enthusiastic Merchandise Associate. Under the guidance of the Merchandise Manager, she will be integral in helping curate and promote sustainable outdoor gear that aligns with the League’s mission. Her passion for the outdoors and expertise in merchandising make her an ideal fit for enhancing our online store, contributing to fundraising efforts, and elevating brand awareness.
Alexxa’s journey in outdoor retailing began at a small mom-and-pop outdoor shop called Wander Outfitters. She then honed her skills at REI, one of Southern California’s largest and busiest stores, where she excelled in outfitting adventurers with the right gear. Her commitment to sustainability was further nurtured at Freewaters Footwear, where she was a Social Media Intern and assisted with product research. Alexxa holds an Associate of Arts in Fashion Merchandising and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Advertising and a minor in Marketing Consumer Behavior.
Since moving to Lake Tahoe in 2019, Alexxa has fully embraced the outdoor lifestyle that Tahoe offers. Whether snowboarding in the winter or hiking with her Australian Shepherd mix, Moose, she finds joy in every season. Her passion for outdoor activities is contagious, and she’s always eager to share her love for nature with those around her.
