Courtney inspires and empowers the community to protect Lake Tahoe through hands-on engagement opportunities. As the League’s Engagement Manager, she leads the League’s community engagement events, such as Tahoe Forest Stewardship Days, Eyes on the Lake, Snapshot Day, and water quality monitoring initiatives. Courtney’s work connects Tahoe’s community with the League’s mission, fostering environmental stewardship and promoting action to safeguard the Lake. With her expertise and enthusiasm, Courtney ensures that every event is impactful and every participant leaves informed, inspired, and ready to make a difference.

Courtney joined the League in 2022 with a background in customer service, data management, and environmental education. Before joining the League, her passions for environmental conservation and research led her to volunteer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and work on wildlife conservation projects in Florida, Costa Rica, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science from California State University, Monterey Bay.

Courtney enjoys scuba diving, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time with her dog.
