Kimberley Milligan
Kimberley Milligan grew up spending time with her grandparents at Tahoe and still spends part of every season on the North Shore. Kim began her legal career as an associate at Morrison & Foerster. Inspired by her pro bono clients, she left the firm to represent domestic violence survivors and their families as Legal Director at the Center for Domestic Violence Prevention. Kim later joined the California Judicial Council as a policy attorney, where she provided leadership and legal analysis for projects concerning domestic violence, families, and children in the state courts. In addition to her involvement with the League, Kim is currently serving on the boards of Rachel’s Network and River Network and on the Earthjustice Council. She has previously served on and chaired several nonprofit boards including American Rivers and the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL). She received a B.A. from Stanford and a J.D. from Columbia Law School and lives in Durango, CO with her husband Chris and their 2.5 dogs.
